Lyrical inspiration provided by space, John Coltrane, inner anxiety, Greek folk songs and Black Metal. With help from members of the Elastic Arts community in Chicago, Outburst on the 66 journeys into psych, prog and jazz while still rooted in alt rock/art rock. The recording has a classic 70's psych vibe that invites you to put on the headphones and crank it up! Black light and strobe optional.

Recorded at Narwhal Studio Chicago by Wesley Reno and Mixed by Brian Deck. Executive direction and snare drum consulting by Jim Gifford. It is always a pleasure to record at Narwhal. We had the opportunity to work with Brian Deck this time around and I think the results were amazing. Wesley had the talent and patience to get the best sounds and performance out of us. Brian blended these sounds as a painter would use a palette to blend colors and create a masterpiece!
